| | Saturday morning at 10:00 a.m SHARP, the Silver Dollar Fair Junior Livestock Auction will begin.
When you purchase an animal at the Junior Livestock Auction, you are buying prize winning livestock raised by Butte County youth organization members. Your purchase helps support the important educational programs of the 4-H and FFA youth groups. It also brings you the choicest meat for your dining pleasure.
The boys & girls in youth programs are learning to produce the highest quality food for your table. They are also learning how to manage their own business operations. On a small scale, however, their costs are higher than commercial producers. YOUR support is needed.
To become a Buyer: Sign up prior to the Auction by calling the Fair Office at (530) 895-4666. We will be happy to mail or fax you an application. For your application to be accepted, the buyer form must be received no later than noon on Friday preceding the Auction. We will not accept any applications on the day of the Auction.
