From community fundraisers to corporate events, the Silver Dollar Fairgrounds offers a unique and versatile setting in the heart of Chico, CA.
Since 1938 the Silver Dollar Fairgounds has resided in its current location and is known as the home of the county’s largest annual event and home to the Silver Dollar Speedway. Conveniently located just minutes from downtown and close to several hotels, the fairgrounds is easily accessible for guests and vendors alike.
Our facilities can host a wide range of events—from small gatherings of 50 to outdoor celebrations for more than 3,000. The spacious carnival lot, large pavilion, and open-air areas are ideal for festivals, car shows, sporting events, and family reunions. Indoors, our rental buildings offer flexible space for wedding receptions, expos, seminars, and trade shows.
NEW & UPCOMING: We have broken ground on our new state of the art Resilience & Event Center. Aiming to enhance our venues readiness in times of emergency response as well as expand our event rental offerings. Completion date TBD
